This product has utility power priority. When utility power is available,if the inverter switch and charger switch both are on , The utility power will be used first, and charging the battery while supplying power to the load (the 220v comes from the utility power).If the inverter switch adjust to be off ,it will not consumer the energy. This is suitable for RVs parked in the camp where there is 220V mains electricity. If the utility power is cut off, and the inverter switch is on , it will be switch automatically to the DC-AC mode (power from battery ).If no utility power and inverter switch is off ,then the load will be cut off.
