The battery life cycle has increased from 4,000 to 6,000, which is one of the highest on the market and stands out from the competition

San Diego, June 2, 2021 (Global News Agency)-NeoVolta Inc. (OTC: NEOV)-NeoVolta Inc., a manufacturer of smart energy storage solutions, announced that the cycle life of its solar cells has been significantly extended. From June 15th, NeoVolta's advanced NV14 energy storage system will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery that can be recycled 6,000 times. This means 50% longer life than the original 4,000-cycle product.

The battery cycle is defined as one charge and discharge. Most household batteries are cycled once a day, and 4,000 cycles are equivalent to 10.95 years of life. NeoVolta's 6,000 cycles translates to a lifespan of 16.5 years, based on full charge and discharge. If the homeowner discharges fewer batteries, the service life will usually be longer.

NeoVolta's NV24 additional battery, which can be used to expand the high storage capacity of NV14, has also been upgraded to 6,000 cycles.

"For any homeowner who invests in energy storage, maximizing cycle life is critical," said Brent Wilson, NeoVolta CEO. "NeoVolta's NV14 system and optional NV24 battery now provide one of the longest lifespans in the residential mainstream market."

Reaching 6,000 cycles is only NeoVolta's latest engineering milestone, and it also offers generator integration and off-grid options. NeoVolta continues to develop other industry-leading enhancements while maintaining the lowest prices in the industry when comparing cost per watt.

The NeoVolta storage system is designed for safety and performance. Their lithium iron phosphate chemical composition is a non-flammable and non-toxic alternative to ordinary lithium-ion batteries. The NV14 system has a very high storage capacity of 14.4 kWh, which can be expanded to 24.0 kWh with the optional NV24 battery-no need to spend a second inverter. The 7.7 kilowatt instantaneous power discharge of the system also makes it stand out from the competition.

Due to its excellent safety, performance, and compatibility with any solar system (new or existing, AC or DC), NV14 has been rated as one of the top storage products of Solar Power World for two consecutive years.

About NeoVolta-NeoVolta designs, develops, and manufactures residential energy storage systems that can reduce utility costs, and can power your home even when the grid fails. NV14 focuses on safer lithium iron phosphate (LiFe(PO4)) chemistry, equipped with a solar rechargeable 14.4 kWh battery system, 7,680 watt inverter and a web-based 24/7 monitoring energy management system. By storing energy instead of sending it back to the grid, consumers can protect themselves from power outages, avoid utility companies charging expensive peak demand electricity bills when solar panels are not being produced, and move closer to grid independence. Customers can use the optional NeoVolta NV24 additional battery to expand the capacity of NV14 to the industry-leading 24.0 kWh. NeoVolta has increased generator compatibility and is working on other industry-leading improvements, which will be announced soon.
